Real World Poem
Mrs. Barnes showed us a poem by Judith Viorst and this is my version!!!!!!!
If I were in charge of the world
By Rosie
If I were in charge of the world
I’d cancel writing,
bully’s , light pollution,
Vegetables and also unicorns
If I were in charge of the world
There’d be brighter stars,
Second chances and a world without poverty
If I were in charge of the world
You won't have betrayal.
You won’t have autism
You won’t have bedtime
Or “don’t call your brother names”
If I were in charge of the world
Desert would be everyday
All people would recycle
And a person who sometimes forgot to brush
and sometimes forgot to flush
Would still be allowed to be in charge of the world.
If I were in charge of the world
By Rosie
If I were in charge of the world
I’d cancel writing,
bully’s , light pollution,
Vegetables and also unicorns
If I were in charge of the world
There’d be brighter stars,
Second chances and a world without poverty
If I were in charge of the world
You won't have betrayal.
You won’t have autism
You won’t have bedtime
Or “don’t call your brother names”
If I were in charge of the world
Desert would be everyday
All people would recycle
And a person who sometimes forgot to brush
and sometimes forgot to flush
Would still be allowed to be in charge of the world.
